◎简 介
林超荣（张国荣 饰）是一名刚被辞退的保险经纪。事业低谷加上感情失意令他重新投入到老友阮世生（梁家辉 饰）妹妹的怀抱，并同老友借了钱，想去澳门赌一把来翻身。虽然失败而归，但却遇上了一个赏识自己的大老板（曾江 饰），并喜欢上了老板的情人（关之琳 饰）。为了帮老板挣钱，林超荣决定不顾阮世生的反对，卖掉他所坚守的老人院。然而朋友的痛苦与冷漠终于令林超荣重新明白了一些人生的道理……
